COMMITTEE My Himachal team consists of people from Himachal and friends of Himachal. The driving force for this team’s members is their willingness to contribute towards the betterment of their home land by charitable contributions. Concomitant with this is their goal to help and guide the state government to create a positive and professional environment and develop the right infrastructure grounded in international standards. Born and brought up in Baijnath, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Avnish is the co-founder of My Himachal. Avnish brings with him a rich experience of IT consultancy and a first hand experience of living in Himachal.
He has taken lead to bring together Himachali’s and friends of Himachal worldwide to work towards a better Himachal and form a strong network in US, Canada and UK. |

Arvin can be summed up as quintessential believer, action-oriented catalyst, and social entrepreneur in the making.Born in the foothills of Himalayas, he grew with a great sensibility towards mother nature. An engineer by profession, he followed the footsteps of his mentor and came to Japan in 2001. After working with SonyEricsson Japan on various positions, he jumped into socialentrepreneurial world in early 2009, after having decided to play a moremeaningful role in society.
A strong believer in power of collaborations and "Just do it" attitude, though still an infant in SE world, he wishes to build a small yet powerful community of "trend setters / changemakers" in Asia, to collaborate on social and environmental projects which will address
Asia's immediate needs.
To sustain his SE activities, he works as software consultant and runs a small web / mobile apps development company.
