What is the nature of this group?

My Himachal is a non profit, non-political, and a non-religious organization made up of people of Himachal origin and friends of Himachal Pradesh worldwide.

Why this group?

Our goal is to promote culture, values and heritage of Himachal Pradesh, preserve and protect natural environment and resources of Himachal Pradesh, and to further the economic well-being of Himachal Pradesh and its people.

Does one need to be a Himachali to become a member?

No. Any one Himachal or Non-Himachal, NRI or resident of India are welcome to join this group. Any one who wants to contribute towards groups goals is eligible to become a member.

How do I become a member? What types of memberships are there?

Join Our Member List. There are two types of memberships. For NRIs the membership dues are $100.00 per year and for RIs (Resident Indians) the membership fee is Rs. 500.00 per year. Any one who can't afford to be a paid member can still join as a non-paid member. Only paid members are eligible to serve on executive committee and advisory board and to vote on group related activities.
